lyrics
something got me on, must be in the city
feelings got me wrong but living isn’t easy
some people like to talk, but they don’t listen
what’s the point of thought, if you ain’t tripping?
feelings all I got, so wait a minute
can I get my point across? just let me finish
I’m working late nights
coming home high at the same time
hit the studio at the waste side
feelings all closed but they still mine
something got me on, must be in the city
feelings got me wrong but living isn’t easy
somethings got to change
I’ve been making waves
I’ve been working days
I’ve been chilling courtside
trying to change the game
trying to keep my name
let my feelings fade
sick of working part time
I miss my friends
deep in
I’ve been chilling courtside
I miss my friends deep in
I’ve been working part time
something got me on
must be in the city
feelings got me wrong
but living isn’t easy

A truly stunning album that mentally transports you to foggy early morning streets, the pavement wet from recent rains. Dreary, but in a comforting way. Like sitting next to a window during a rainstorm, listening to the drops hit the glass while remaining warm. Never fails to make me feel safe. Crow Yo
I picked Brown Study purely for the Jens Lekman vibes. However, this entire album just gets more comfortable with every listen. This might be a niche take, but to me it's as if singer/songwriter Jens Lekman turned his hand to dream pop and trip hop while taking the rhythmic vibes of Cigarettes After Sex and dialing them up to "waking up in the morning after sex" tempo. It's a sonic trip is all I can say. riotgrrrl_meg
